For the data given below. find the sum of mode. median and mean.
6, 3, 8, 4, 3, 11, 7, 4, 5, 4.

Solution

6, 3, 8, 4, 3, 11, 7, 4, 5, 4

Arrange the series in ascending order.

3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11

Median = $$\frac{(4 + 5)}{2}$$ = 4.5 Eq.(1)

Mode = most repeated number = 4 Eq.(2)

Mean = $$\frac{(6 + 3 + 8 + 4 + 3 + 11 + 7 + 4 + 5 + 4)}{10}$$

= $$\frac{55}{10}$$

= 5.5 Eq.(3)

Addition Eq.(1), Eq.(2) and Eq.(3).

= 4.5 + 4 + 5.5

= 14
