After interchanging the given two signs and two numbers (4 and 12; $$\div$$ and $$+$$), a new expression will be formed which is given below.
= $$4 \times 12 \div 3 + 6 - 2$$

= $$4\times\frac{12}{3}+6-2$$

= $$4\times4+6-2$$

= 16+4

= 20
