Two labourers L and M start at the same point. L walks 10 m South, then turns left and walks 25 m. In the meanwhile M walks 20 m West, then turns to his right and walks 15 m , then turns East and walks 45 m. Where is M with respect to L?
Let the two labourers L and M start at the same point S. L (black) walks 10 m South to R, then turns left and walks 25 m towards east to stop at point Q. In the meanwhile M (red) walks 20 m West to reach T, then turns to his right and walks 15 m northwards, finally turns East and walks 45 m to stop at point V.
=> VQ = $$15+10=25$$ m
$$\therefore$$ M is 25 m north with respect to L.
