Question 42

Two airliners start from the same airport. A flies 20 km South. B flies 35 km East,then turns South and flies 45 km, then turns to its right and flies 35 km. Where is B with respect to A now?

Let both start from point S and A (red) flies 20 km South and stop at point T. B (black) flies 35 km East to R,then turns South and flies 45 km to reach Q, then turns to its right and flies 35 km westwards to finally stop at point P.

=> PT = $$45-20=25$$ km

$$\therefore$$ B is 25 km south with respect to A now.

=> Ans - (C)
