A man walks 5 kilometre towards South and then turns to the right. After walking 3 kilometre, he turns to the left and walks 5 kilometre. Now in which direction is he from the starting point?
Solution
Let the man started from point A and walked 5 km towards south and reached point B, then he turned right and walked west and reached C. Finally, he turned left and walked towards south for 5 km and stopped at point D.
Thus, he is in south-west direction from starting point.
