122 = 121 + 1 = 11$$^2$$ + 1

170 = 169 + 1 = 13$$^2$$ + 1

226 = 225 + 1 = 15$$^2$$ + 1

256 = 16$$^2$$

122, 170, 226 are in the form of n$$^2$$ + 1 except 256.

$$\therefore\ $$256 is the odd one among the given numbers

Hence, the correct answer is Option B
