Solution
Total number of assaults and murders together in Bihar = 496 + 132 = 628
Total number of various crimes committed in Bihar
= 352 + 496 + 265 + 132 + 332 = 1577
=> Required % = $$\frac{628}{1577} \times 100$$
$$\approx 40 = 39.82 \%$$
