Five subjects, R, T, V, X and Z, are taught from Monday to Friday (not necessarily in the same order). One subject is taught on one day. Only Z is taught before R. T is taught before X. T is not taught on Wednesday. How many subjects are taught before V?

Using, Only Z is taught before R,

Since T is not taught on Wednesday , and it is taught before X,

So , 2 subjects Z and R , are taught before V.

So, the answer is option a)2.
