Read the given statements and conclusions carefully. Assuming that the information given in the statements is true, even if it appears to be at variance with commonly known facts, decide which of the given conclusions logically follow(s) from the statements.
Statements:
Some festivals are fireworks.
No cracker is a firework.
No bomb is a festival.
Conclusions:
I. No bomb is a cracker.
II. Some bombs are crackers.
Conclusion:Â I. No bomb is a cracker.
Conclusion: II. Some bombs are crackers.
Here both of the conclusions are given about the 'bombs' and 'crackers'. But there is not any direct relationship between these entities as per the above-given Venn diagram. So individually none of the conclusions follows. But here both of the entities are same in each conclusion and one is positive and another one is negative. Hence these are forming 'either or' case where one of the conclusions is possible in any case.
Hence either conclusion I or II follows.
