In the following number series, two numbers have been put within brackets. Select the most appropriate option for these numbers in relation to their inclusion in the series.

Solution

The series is of squares of odd numbers. Out of the bracketed numbers 81 and 215, 81 is correct and 215 is incorrect.

$$9^{2} = 81$$
$$15^{2} = 225$$

Option C is correct.
