Question 32

In a code language, if ‘CAMPER’ is written as '314567', and 'SORE' is written as '8976', then how will ‘CEASE’ be written in that language?

Solution

CAMPER ==> 314567

SORE ==> 8976

After comparing the given two words we can say that two letters 'R' and 'S' are common and their codes are also common. From this, we can conclude that the given letters are coded with a number within the word in a respective manner.

C = 3

A = 1

M = 4

P = 5

E = 6

R = 7

S = 8

O = 9

So CEASE ==> 36186
