Question 31

In a certain code language, ‘ROK’ is written as ‘44’ and ‘MIG’ is written as ‘29’. What will be the code for ‘TAL’ in that code language?

Solution

We can get the number by adding the numerical value of the alphabets, when arranged chronologically. A=1, B=2, C=3 and so on.

ROK $$\equiv18+15+11=44$$

MIG $$\equiv13+9+7=29$$

TAL $$\equiv20+1+12=33$$

=> Ans - (A)
