I. $$x^2 - 9x + 18 = 0$$
II. $$5y^2 - 22y + 24 = 0$$

Solution

$$x^2-9x+18 = 0$$
$$(x-3)(x-6) = 0$$
$$x = 3, 6$$

$$5y^2-22y+24 = 0$$
$$(5y-12)(y-2) = 0$$
$$y = 2, \frac{12}{5}$$

$$x > y$$
