Two different positions of the same dice are shown below, the six faces of which are numbered 1 to 6. Which number is on the face opposite the face showing 1?

Solution

From the first position of dice, 1 is not opposite to 3 and 6

From the second position of dice, 1 is not opposite to 5 and 4

$$\Rightarrow$$ 1 is opposite to the remaining number 2

$$\therefore\ $$2 will be on the face opposite to the face showing 1.

Hence, the correct answer is Option B
