Question 27

If ‘$$\times$$’ stands for ‘$$+$$’, ‘$$+$$’ stands for ‘$$\div$$’, ‘$$-$$’ stands for ‘$$\times$$’ and ‘$$\div$$’ stands for ‘$$-$$’, then find the value of the given equation.
$$76 \div 5 - 6 + 3 \times 4 = ?$$

Solution

Given expression $$76 \div 5 - 6 + 3 \times 4 = ?$$

$$76 - 5 \times 6\div 3 + 4 = ?$$ (we change sign according to given in question  )

$$\Rightarrow 76 - 5 \times 2 + 4 = ?$$

$$\Rightarrow 76 - 10 + 4 = ?$$

$$\Rightarrow 80- 10 = ?$$

$$\Rightarrow  70 = ?$$

$$\Rightarrow ? = 70 $$Ans
