In a certain code language, ‘KITE’ is written as ‘9’ and ‘MAGIC’ is written as ‘11’. How will ‘FELICITATION’ be written as in that language?

Solution

Given Code ‘KITE’ is written as ‘9 and ‘MAGIC’ is written as ‘11’

both Codes follow the Pattern = $$ 2 \times number of alphabet used in the words + 1 $$

then KITE = $$ 2 \times 4 +1 = 9 $$

and MAGIC = $$ 2 \times 5 +1 = 11 $$

therefore FELICITATION = $$ 2 \times 12 +1 = 25 $$ Ans
