In the following questions, a series is given, with one term missing. Choose the correct alternative from the given ones that will complete the series.

B-1, D-2, F-4, H-8, J-16, .....

Solution

Order of letters,

B + 2 = D + 2 = F + 2 = H + 2 = J + 2 = L

Order of numbers,

1 $$\times$$ 2 = 2

2 $$\times$$ 2 = 4

4 $$\times$$ 2 = 8

8  $$\times$$ 2 = 16

16  $$\times$$ 2 = 32

So, next term = L-32
