The ratio of present ages of Raman and Lamba is 7 : 5. After 6 years, age of Raman will be 48 years. What is the present age (in years) of Lamba?

Solution

It is given that 6 years hence, Raman's age = $$48$$ years

=> Raman's present age = $$48-6 = 42$$ years

Ratio of present ages of Raman and Lamba = 7 : 5

=> Lamba's present age = $$\frac{5}{7}\times42=30$$ years

=> Ans - (A)
