Question 2

If $$A = (-14 + 4) and B = 4 - 14$$, then $$AB =$$

Solution

we know that ,

$$\left(x-y\right)^2=\left(x^2+y^2-2\times x\times y\right).$$

given that,

$$A=\left(-14+4\right)\&B=\left(4-14\right).$$

By rearranging above equation we get,

$$A=\left(4-14\right).$$

So,

$$AB=\left(4-14\right)\times\left(4-14\right).$$

or,$$AB=\left(4-14\right)^2.$$

or,$$AB=\left(4^2+14^2-2\times 4\times 14\right).$$

or,$$AB=\left(16+196-112\right).$$

or, $$AB=\left(212-112\right).$$

or,$$AB=100.$$

So, $$AB=100.$$
