There are two sets of three figures each.
Last figure belongs to the second set.
The relation and changes observed in last two figures of first set would be followed in the last two figures of second set.
Hence, in figure 2 and 3, there is shifting along on diagonal and interchanging along other.
Only figure 4 follows this and hence, the answer is option D.
