The breadth of a rectangle is half of its length. Also. the length of the rectangle is equal to the radius of a circle of area 154 sq. ems. What is the ‘,clinic-ter of the rectangle
Let the radius of the circle be $$r$$.
Area of the circle $$A = \pi \times r^{2} = 154$$
$$r^{2} = \frac{154 \times 7}{22} = 49$$
$$r=7$$
Let the length and breadth of the rectangle be $$l$$ and $$b$$ respectively.
Given $$l=r=7$$
Also $$b= \frac{l}{2} =\frac{7}{2} $$
Area of the rectangle $$ = l \times b = \frac{7\times7}{2}$$
Area of Rectangle $$=24.5$$.
Hence Option E is the correct answer.
