Question 189

Ganesh’s monthly income is twice that of Jassi's monthly income. Two-third of Jassi’s monthly income is equal to Sukhvinder’s monthly income. If Sukhvinder’s annual income is Rs. 2.34 lass what is Ganesh's monthly income ? (In some cases annual income and in some cases monthly income is given.)

Solution

Let Ganesh, Jassi and Sukhvinder be represented as G,J and S respectively.
G's monthly Income = $$2\times$$ J's monthly Income
$$\frac{2}{3}$$ rd of J's monthly income = S's monthly income.
S's annual Income = 2,34,000
S's monthly income = 19,500

J's monthly income $$ = \frac{19500\times 3}{2} = 29,250$$

G's monthly income $$ = 2 \times 29250 = 58,500$$.
Hence Option C is the correct answer.
