We need to interchange : + & x and 12 &18
(A) : (9 + 12) x 18 = 60
$$\equiv(9\times18)+12=60$$
L.H.S. $$=162+12=174\neq$$ R.H.S.
(B) : (18 + 6) x 12 = 90
$$\equiv(12\times6)+18=90$$
L.H.S. $$=72+18=90=$$ R.H.S.
