Solution

In the table along the columns,

16 + 36 + 38 = 90

49 + 25 + 16 = 90

Sum of numbers along the columns is 90.

Let the required number = a

Similarly from third column,

64 + 6 + a = 90

$$\Rightarrow$$ a = 20

$$\therefore\ $$The required number = 20

Hence, the correct answer is Option C
