A plastic toy costs ₹7. A plastic spoon costs ₹5. X spends ₹38 on these plastic items. Find the number of plastic toys he/she purchased?

Solution

Let he bought x number of plastic toys and y number of plastic spoon

According to the question,

7x+5y=38

Check through option then if we put x=4 and y =2 then only it will satisfy

$$7\times\ 4+5\times\ 2=38$$
