If CAB is coded as 6 and BED is coded as 40, then how will HAD be coded as?

Solution

As per the question,

CAB is coded as 6,

As per the English letter sequence, C is the 3rd letter, A is the 1st letter and B is the 2nd letter so $$3\times 1 \times \times 2=6$$

similarly

BED is coded as 40,

As per the English letter sequence, B is the 2rd letter, E is the 5th letter and D is the 4th letter so $$2\times 5 \times \times 4=40$$

Hence

HAD will be coded as =32

As per the English letter sequence, H is the 8th letter, A is the 1st letter and D is the 4th letter so $$8\times 1 \times \times 4=32$$
