Let speed of boat in still water = $$x$$ km/h
and speed of current = $$y$$ km/h
Now, $$\frac{30}{x + y} = 6$$
=> $$x + y = 5$$
and $$\frac{24}{x - y} = 6$$
=> $$x - y = 4$$
Solving above equations, we get :
$$x = \frac{9}{2}$$ and $$y = \frac{1}{2}$$
=> $$x : y = 9 : 1$$
