Solution

Total number of employees in Scale I = 225 + 725 + 750 + 300 + 325 + 175 = 2500

Total number of employees in Scale VI = 4 + 20 + 28 + 15 + 8 + 5 = 80

=> Required % = $$\frac{80}{2500} * 100$$

= $$\frac{80}{25}$$ = 3.2 %
