$$ If cosec\theta +\cot\theta = 2, then cosec\theta = ? $$

Solution

We know ,

$$\cosec^2 \theta - \cot^2\theta = 1$$

=> (x - y)(x + y) = 1

=>$$\cosec\theta - \cot\theta = \frac{1}{2}$$

And given ,

$$cosec\theta +\cot\theta = 2$$

$$\cosec\theta$$ = 1.25

So, the answer would be option b)1.25
