A health drink company prepares the drinks of three different flavours P, Q, R. The production of three flavours over a period of sixyears has been expressed on bar graph provided below. Study the graph and answer the questions.

Solution
Total production of drinks of flavour P = 50+40+55+45+60+50 = 300
=> Average production = 300/6 = 50
Total production of drinks of flavour Q = 55+60+50+55+50+55 = 325
=> Average production = 325/6 = 54.16 [MAX]
Total production of drinks of flavour R = 45+50+60+60+45+40 = 300
=> Average production = 300/6 = 50
Thus, average production is maximum for only Q.
