M.P. of 1 TV= 6000rs
rebate on 1 TV= 40%of 6000=2400rs
let he purchases x no of tv's
rebate on x tv's=26400
$$x\times2400=26400$$
$$x=\dfrac{26400}{2400}$$
$$x=11$$
