The median of the numbers 14, 12, 12, 16, 13 and 18 is:

14, 12, 12, 16, 13, 18

Firstly arrange the series in ascending order.

12, 12, 13, 14, 16, 18

There are two middle terms in the series. So median will be average of these two numbers.

So $$\frac{(13 + 14)}{2}$$ = 13.5
