Question 13

P invests half as much as Q and Q puts in half as much as R in a business. If the monthly profit of Rs.7000 is shared between them, then what is the share of R ?

Solution

Let say, R invested x Rs.

So, Q invests (x/2) Rs.

and P invests (x/4) Rs.

So, P,Q,R will share the profit in

(x/4:x/2:x)  or 1:2:4 ratio.

So, R will receive=(7000×(4/7))=4000 Rs.

A is correct choice.
