In a certain code ‘3 4 5’ means ‘come and go’ and ‘5 9 7’ means ‘go back now’, what does ‘9’ mean in that code ?

Solution

From the two conditions above, the common word is only 'go' coded as '5'

Now, in the second condition, there are two words left i.e., 'back' & 'now' coded as either '9' or '7'

Thus, 9 can either mean 'back' or 'now'.
