I. $$(x)^{2} = 961$$
II. $$y=\sqrt{961}$$

Solution

I : $$(x)^{2} = 961$$

=> $$x = \sqrt{961}$$

=> $$x = \pm 31$$

II : $$y=\sqrt{961}$$

=> $$y = 31$$

$$\therefore x \leq y$$
