Let the number of students be x.
Let number of students in first class, second class, pass class be A. B and C respectively.
Now with given information,
I gives A+B+C=0.85x
II gives B=750
III gives C=0.28B
From I, II and III we can find B and C but A can't still be found as x is unknown.
Here data is insufficient.
Hence, the correct option is option D.
