The number of women working in the IT department of the organization forms what percent of the total number of employees in the organization from all departments together ?
Solution
Total number of employees working in I.T. department
= $$\frac{57.6}{360} \times 3250 = 520$$
=> Women working in I.T. department = $$\frac{3}{10} \times 520 = 156$$
Total employees in the organization = 3250
$$\therefore$$ Required % = $$\frac{156}{3250} \times 100$$
= $$\frac{312}{65} = 4.8 \%$$
