Solution

Total no. of male students from Assam = Total students from Assam - Total female students from Assam = 18% of 8000 - 13% of 3500 = 1440-455=985

similarly,

Total no. of male students from Madhya Pradesh = 665

The ratio between the number of male students from Assam and the number of male students from Madhya Pradesh=985/665=197/133
