What is the total percentage of boys in schools R and U together ? (rounded off to two digits after decimal)

Solution

Total number of students in R and U = 2000 and 1000 respectively

Percentage of girls = 25% and 15% respectively

Percentage of boys = 75% and 85% respectively

Number of boys = 75% of 2000+ 85% of 1000 = 2350

Percentage = 2350/3000 = 78.33%
