Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below :
Among five persons – M. N, 0, P and Q – each having different height. N is taller than 0 but shorter than M. Q is taller than only P. The second tallest person is 165 cm tall while the second shortest is 155 cm tall.
Solution
N is taller than O but shorter than M, => M > N > O
Q is taller than only P, => P is the shortest and Q is the second shortest.
=> Arrangement : M > N > O > Q > P
Also, N = 165 cm and Q = 155 cm
160 lies between 155 and 165 cm and here only one person lies between N (165 cm) and Q (155 cm)
Thus, O may be 160 cm tall.
