What is the difference in number of engineering colleges in 80's and 90's

Solution

Number of engineering colleges in 80's = $$\frac{15}{100}\times20,000=3,000$$

Number of engineering colleges in 90's = $$\frac{40}{100}\times40,000=16,000$$

=> Required difference = $$16000-3000=13000$$

=> Ans - (A)
