The line chart given below shows the per acre yield (in million tonnes) of tea of 7 countries.
All the countries are arranged in ascending order of per acre yield. If bottom 2 countries increases their per acre yield by 20% and all other countries increase their per acre yield by 10%, then what is the new average per acre yield (in million tonnes)?
Countries in ascending order :
Nepal : $$82\times\frac{110}{100}=90.2$$
Thailand : $$104\times\frac{110}{100}=114.4$$
Singapore : $$120\times\frac{110}{100}=132$$
Bhutan : $$162\times\frac{110}{100}=178.2$$
Srilanka : $$250\times\frac{110}{100}=275$$
China : $$272\times\frac{120}{100}=326.4$$
India : $$300\times\frac{120}{100}=360$$
=> New average per acre yield (in million tonnes) = $$\frac{(90.2+114.4+132+178.2+275+326.4+360)}{7}$$
= $$\frac{1476.2}{7}=210.88$$
