Find 150% of X, if X is the least number which when divided by 6, 7, 8, 9 and 12 leaves remainders 2, 3, 4, 5 and 8 respectively.

Solution

Find the LCM OF 6,7,8,9 AND 12

LCM(6,7,8,9,12) = 504

Here 6-2 = 4, 7-3 =4, 8-4 = 4, 9-5=4 and 12-8=4 so on.

So required number X is=504-4=500

150% of X=750
