The sum of the numbers represented by each alphabet, as A=1, B=2, C=3 and so on, is multiplied by the number of letters in the word.
Eg :- DIG $$\equiv(4+9+7)\times3=60$$
Similarly, FEED $$\equiv(6+5+5+4)\times4=80$$
