IPMAT Reservation Policy 2026
The Integrated Programme in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT) 2026 is conferred as an official, premier National Level Entrance Test to direct students into 5-year Integrated Management Programmes (IPM) at top Indian Institute of Management, such as Indore, Rohtak, Ranchi, etc., directly after completing the 12th grade. It tests students in their ability to use quantitative, verbal and logical reasoning to determine which students can follow directly after completing their undergraduate degree; thus, also eliminating the need for a separate MBA entrance test.
In addition to these main abilities, IPMAT 2026 includes testing areas of Data Interpretation depending on the conducting body and the complete exam is conducted in online mode before a Personal Interview (PI) as the final selection process..

IPMAT Indore Reservation Criteria
For IPM program 2026-31 batch, IIM Indore provides a total 150 seats to the domestic candidates. A candidate who wants to admissions in reserved category must meet the following IPMAT Indore reservation criteria:
Maximum Age limit for IPMAT Indore:
General, NC-OBC and EWS: The candidates belonging to these categories should be born on or after Aug 1, 2006 and their maximum age should be 20 years.
SC, ST and PwD: IIM Indore offers a 5-year age relaxation to the candidates belonging to these categories and they should be born on or after Aug 1 2001, and their maximum age should be 25 years.
Year of completion:
The Candidate should complete their class 12 or equivalent examination in years of 2024, 2025 and 2026

IPMAT Rohtak Reservation Criteria
For the IPM program 2026-31 batch, IIM Rohtak provides a total of 198 seats as per the reservation policies of the Government of India. A candidate who wants to admissions in reserved category must meet the following IPMAT Rohtak reservation criteria:
Minimum Marks Requirement for IPMAT Rohtak:
General, NC-OBC and EWS: The candidates belonging to these categories must have scored minimum 60% marks in Class 10 and 12.
SC, ST and PwD: The candidates belonging to these categories must have scored minimum 55% marks in Class 10 and 12.
Year of completion:
The Candidate should complete their class 12 in years of 2024, 2025 and 2026
Maximum Age limit for IPMAT Rohtak:
General, NC-OBC and EWS: The candidates belonging to these categories should be born on or after July 01, 2006 and their maximum age should be 20 years.
SC, ST and PwD: IIM Rohtak offers a 5-year age relaxation to the candidates belonging to these categories and they should be born on or after July 01, 2001, and their maximum age should be 25 years.

IPMAT Seats General Category
The general category students compete for 40.5 per cent of the total seats in both IPMAT Indore and Rohtak. In the upcoming IPM 2026-31 batch admissions, the general category students get 61 seats out of 150 seats IPMAT Indore admission and in IPMAT Rohtak admission the general category students get 80 seats out of 198 seats. It shows the higher level of competition in the general category, so the candidates have to score more than 90% marks approximately to secure the seat in upcoming IPM Program 2026-31.
