The candidates must have a graduate in any discipline from a recognised institute. Final year candidates can also apply but they should complete the course by 4.09.2019)

The IBPS PO examination consists of the following sections/areas.
The preliminary exam is of objective type with 3 sections and a composite time of 1 hour.
Every question carries equal marks (1 mark) and ¼ marks will be penalised for every wrong answer.
The pattern is as follows:

1/4 of the total mark assigned to that question will be penalised for every wrong answer in the mains exam.
Candidate must clear the cut off three sections.
The basic pay of a IBPS bank PO is Rs. 23,700. Dearness allowance is decided based on Consumer Price Index.
The housing rent allowance is 9% or 8% or 7% depending on the place of posting.
The in hand salary varies from Rs. 33,000 to Rs. 38,000 depending on the location of posting.
