Section-wise XAT 2024 Last-Minute Tips
Coming to the XAT is an exam which is slightly different from the other MBA Entrance exams. Compared to other entrance exams, this is not a speed-based exam. If we compare the XAT with the CAT exam, there are only some additional topics you need to prepare for the XAT exam, such as the decision-making section and a few topics in the verbal section. XAT 2024 Verbal and Logical Ability Last-Minute Tips
In this section, you will be getting the RC-type questions. When it comes to the RCs in the XAT exam, mostly these RCs are critical reasoning type RCs. Critical reasoning is very essential for acing this section, and when it comes to the verbal ability part, there will be a wide range of topics such as grammar-based questions, para jumbles, fill in the blanks, Para summary, etc. It is advised to follow the basics in these last few days. XAT 2024 Quant and DI Last-Minute Tips
If you have prepared very well for the CAT, that would be enough for the XAT, but the questions in XAT are somewhat lengthier, if you are very well versed in basics and fundamentals, you can definitely solve these questions. Make sure to revise the most essential concepts such as Arithmetic, Geometry, Algebra, Number Systems and P&C.
Regarding data interpretation, DI questions in XAT are not as tough as compared to the CAT. But as with quant, these questions are also time-consuming. Only you have to choose the easy set.
So there are some data-intensive DI sets. Revising the basic statistical concepts such as variance and standard deviation is recommended.
XAT 2024 Decision-Making Last-Minute Tips
This is the deciding section of the XAT exam. This is a very important section, and you cannot ignore it. There will be some questions in this section involving business-related, ethical dilemmas, and hiring-related, among others. Basically, you need to take the decision, a case will be given to you, and you need to make the decision for that case. And remember that no matter how high you scored in the quant and verbal sections, it is essential to clear the cut-off for this section. XAT 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

Be on Reporting Time – It is advisable for candidates to be at the exam centre of XAT at least one hour before the exam time. The admit card mentions the reporting time, including all the XAT 2024 instructions. Candidates are advised to read it carefully. No candidate will be allowed to enter if they are late than the reporting time.

Do not carry any electronic gadgets – Candidates are advised not to bring any kind of electronic gadgets like mobile phones, digital watches, calculators, etc. Candidates who, during checking, are found with any such gadgets will not be allowed to continue with their exam.
- Do not forget to carry Admit Card – In the XAT entrance exam, XLRI Jamshedpur will also ask candidates to carry at least two hard copies of the XAT 2024 admit card. Before reaching the exam centre for XAT 2024, it will be mandatory for candidates to have their admit cards. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre if he/she does not possess a hard copy of their XAT 2024 admit card.
Documents to carry to the XAT 2024 Test Centre
As per the exam pattern of XAT 2024, the exam will be conducted in computer-based mode. Hence, candidates are not required to carry anything. A rough sheet will be provided along with a pen if required by candidates. The documents that the candidate has to carry are as follows.
- Recent passport-size photograph
- Original Identity card like PAN, Aadhar, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License
