Last-Minute Tips

Revise the essential topics: We have only a few days for the exam. So, we advise the candidates to concentrate on the concepts which have a strong grasp. Avoid referring to new concepts. Learning new topics may lead the candidate to waste the most valuable time. It is not recommended to learn new topics.

Verbal ability & Reading comprehension Section: Try to spend 1 hour reading every day. We recommend the candidates improve their reading ability with the Reading Comprehension passages. Practice language ability questions based on grammar, and revise some essential rules of grammar, word analogies, vocabulary etc., in the last few days before the exam. These are some of the most important topics include Reading Comprehension, Antonyms/Synonyms, Word analogies, Para jumbles, Error correction etc.

Mathematics and Logical Reasoning: We recommend the candidates spend their time revising the important formulas. Candidates can crack the Mathematics section if they have a strong knowledge of formulas. There are some important topics to be covered in this section, including Arithmetic, Basic Geometry, Algebra, etc.

Regarding the Logical Reasoning part, the candidate must follow an important step to represent the data correctly. Practice the puzzles from topics that come in the exam. Spare time for yourself to analyze your mocks.

General Awareness: Candidates who read the newspaper and current affairs regularly will perform well in this section. Usually, the questions are asked from static GK, so we recommend candidates revise the details of important movements, inventions & discoveries, famous authors, India’s GDP, and knowing about countries, capitals, currencies, etc.

Do watch the below excellent video on Top 500 GK Questions (Current Affairs & Static GK) which are most expected in the TISSNET 2023.

Balance your speed and accuracy: A proper balance between speed and accuracy is essential, as there’s no point in attempting more questions inaccurately. Both are important for high scores. Point out your speed and accuracy towards questions while practising the mocks.

Tips During Exam

Time Management: This is to be implemented during the exam. It is a very crucial thing to manage your time during the exam.

Attempt all the easy questions: We recommend the candidates attempt all easy and familiar questions. Once that is done, focus on attempting the moderate difficulty level questions. As we know that there is no negative marking in the TISSNET exam. So the candidates must attempt the questions as many as possible.

In these last few days, getting under overpressure on learning is not recommended because it can make the candidate lose confidence. In the last few days before the exam, revise key concepts and rather than study for too many hours. It is very important to take enough rest and to do something that relaxes your mind.

If you can follow these last-minute tips for the TISSNET exam and take the exam with a calm mind, you will ace the TISSNET exam.
