Every year IBPS Clerical cadre exam conducted by Institute of Banking Personal Selection(IBPS). IBPS started the Common Written Examination (CWE) in the year 2011 to hire clerks and officers in Public Sector Banks(PSB). It receives an online application through its official website for registration of the exam.
It is held at different locations across India. The exam is conducted in online mode. In 2021, IBPS Clerk Pre-Exam is going to held Preliminary Examination on 28th, 29th August & 4th & 5th September 2021. Main Examination scheduled on 31st October 2021.

Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the Participating Organisations as a Clerk or in a similar post in that cadre, is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CWE Clerks).
The examination will be two tier i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main.
Candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for Main examination.
There is no interview or Group Discussion.

The age of the candidates should be between 20 years and 28 years.
Graduates in any discipline from any recognised university or any equivalent qualification recognised by the Government of India.
The upper age limit is relaxed for the candidates belonging to the following categories.

The IBPS Clerk examination consists of the following sections/areas.
1/4 marks will be penalized for every wrong answer in the prelims & the mains exam.
IBPS Clerk Prelims is an online multiple-choice question (MCQ) examination of 1 hour duration. So, the candidates have to manage their time well.

The in-hand salary of the IBPS bank clerk varies from Rs. 19,000 to 21,000 depending on the bank and the place of posting.
