Jayant covers a certain distance in $$2\frac{1}{2}$$ hours at a speed of 54 km/h . How much time will Prabhu take to cover the same distance at a speed of 72 km/h ?

Solution

$$dis\tan ce=speed\times\ time$$

$$\ \frac{\ 4}{5}\times\ 54=72\times\ t$$

fromhere we can find the value of t is $$\ 1\frac{7\ }{8}$$ hours

hence option 'D' is correct
